At Eternity´s Gate - Vincent Van Gogh
The theme of the painting is depression, portrayed by Van Gogh in the form of a man with his hands on his face, showing sadness and indecision. The truth is that the man is Van Gogh himself at the end of his days. The art work was concluded a few days before he commited suicide. The setting of the painting is a very simple house mostly made of wood. We think this painting shows a very serious matter, because depression is a subject that is present on many people's lifes. It is a very beautiful art work and we suppose it was hard to make it
The background was very similar and clothing too. The pose of Leonardo was similar to the character. Only his feet were not good.

The picture is very similar to the painting, and Leonardo represents the man in the painting very well. It seems like that is really sad !!!

Leonardo's portrait represents well the depression. Their feet aren't like the ones in Van Gogh's portrait. They are open. We think the group made a well done study about the painting.- Fernanda, Vitória and Suziane- 8ªE
